Finance Analyst Cruise Operations

The key responsibility of this role is the financial ownership of the Onboard Hotel, Cruise Operations, Entertainment and Customer Experience cost base from an end-to-end perspective (£140m p.a.).  This role business partners the Head of Hotel Operations and GM Cruise Customer Experience through regular reforecast cycles, performance analysis and challenging the business to deliver cost efficiencies.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Manage month-end performance, forecasting, and cashflow processes for assigned cost base areas
  • Business partner with Head of Hotel Operations & GM Cruise Customer Experience, building strong relationships with the commercial team
  • Create and present bi-monthly Cruise Operations Strategy Deck to commercial managers
  • Produce Cruise Ops performance slides for monthly cost base meetings with Cruise MD and Board
  • Oversee Marella Business Travel budget and establish efficient processes
  • Coordinate annual pay rise process for Crew salaries
  • Prepare robust annual budget and support 3-year strategic plan
  • Ensure data integrity, reconcile Balance Sheets, and support cost-saving initiatives and ad hoc projects

ABOUT YOU

  • Part-qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience in finance or accounting
  • Adept at working with complexity and ambiguity
  • Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills
  • Excellent communicator, able to translate financial information for non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficient in Excel and skilled with various systems and processes
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines independently
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Relationship builder with a proactive attitude
