The Business Analyst is a critical thinker with a keen eye for detail. Actively consulting with stakeholders, probing to create and communicate a common understanding of the problem that needs solving. Working within a fast-paced agile environment, the Business Analyst thinks outside of the box, loves collaborating across teams and is a lifelong learner.

ABOUT THE JOB
- We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a proven track record in providing business analysis for large projects to join our team.
- You will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance business performance within an agile environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and interpersonal abilities and a deep understanding of business operations.
- You will be part of a cross-functional team that delivers software solutions for engineering & maintance systems from conception to operation. You will be working as a strong team player but have no problem working independently. You will collaborate with architects, data analysts, digital analysts, product owners, software developers, technology leads and UX/UI designers to clearly define, document and communicate requirements that will enable implementation of new changes and enhancements to our digital platforms in an agile manner.
- You will responsible for evaluating solution options, consulting with stakeholders as needed to define and articulate business needs in a way that enables the design and delivery of technical solutions that add value across TUI global platforms and services. You will use your deep understanding of TUI products and systems, business models, processes, data flows and their link to business capabilities to plan and deliver high quality business analysis that supports the ongoing delivery of growth and digital transformation across our key markets.
- You will be working alongside a varied set of technology and business stakeholders and you will define and document new business, user, and system requirements, considering impacts to upstream/ downstream services. You will manage the requirement lifecycle from planning through to elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance. You can provide business analysis to multiple agile delivery teams and work closely with the product owner, technology lead and business partners to prioritise and manage complex backlogs. You will also support the software operation/management which includes incident analysis, incident management and handling of configuration requests. You will be responsible to keep documentation of applications in your area of responsibility up to date.
- As a Business Analyst you will distil the needs of business and using your strong collaboration skills you support your team to deliver the best solutions to our customers’ needs. You will be commercially astute, focusing on solving business problems in the best way.

You will be eager to learn and acquire new skills and keep up to date with latest developments in your focus areas. You will an active member in the Business Analyst community.

ABOUT YOU
- Extensive experience in IT-system design and requirements management, preferably in airline or tourism sectors
- Proficiency in agile development methods and project management
- Strong analytical skills for comprehending and communicating complex problems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in creating, analysing, and validating detailed functional specifications and system design elements
- Skilled in requirements elicitation techniques such as BPM, UML, test/use cases, and prototyping
- Knowledge of business process modelling and improvement methodologies
- Understanding of data definition and entity relationship modelling
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Software proficiency: MS Office, Jira, Confluence and AWS cloud solutions
- Fluent in English, with advanced communication skills for interdisciplinary and international teamwork
- Strong negotiation skills with both external and internal partners
- Desirable is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or British Computer Society (BCS) Business Analysis certificate
- Desirable is a Technical or business degree, or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge in SQL queries, Java, web services, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing as well as understanding of IT architecture concepts; programming skills desirable
