Product Development Executive

Join our global TUI Musement Team in Costa Rica as a Product Development Executive. To ensure that TUI can put day after day a smile on the faces of its guests, your mission will be to ensure that the supplier’s contracting process run smoothly by optimally team-working with contracting team. ABOUT THE JOB: 

• Loading and maintenance of Multiday Tours in local systems. 

• Process stop sales from suppliers in the local systems. 

• Create contracts for suppliers using our templates based on negotiation with suppliers. 

• Ensure the highest health & safety standards by including suppliers in the H&S process. 

• Handle system database of suppliers, creating or deleting suppliers as necessary, in Asterix, Nezasa, SAP, etc. 

• Update of rates of our Multiday Tours offer in our different platforms. 

• Assistance with Product growth for our own OTA, Musement, and other OTAs as Expedia, Viator, etc. 

• Coordination of fam trips and site inspections to local team members and TTOO´s sales agents and product managers. 

• Coordination of product presentations at the local office. 

• Assistance in the creation of itineraries based on our product portfolio and customer needs. 

• Quality control on negotiation with suppliers. 

• Claims handling with suppliers 

• Track suppliers service level and develop improvement opportunities. 

• Support other TUI Musement areas, such as Commercial, Finance, and Sales teams, by searching and providing quality information based on requests made. 

• Assistance to suppliers with situations related to administrative and operational issues. 

• Identify product trends & help expand product portfolio. 

• Acquire deep knowledge of the products & services (hotels, activities, transportation) we offer to our clients by participating in fam trips and on-site inspections. 

ABOUT YOU:

• Experience in the tourism business with strong knowledge and understanding of the Specialist Business area (groups, roundtrips, fly & drive, open voucher, etc). 

• Experience in a purchasing function (independent negotiation and conclusion of contracts). 

• Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. 

• High degree of teamwork and empathy combined with good communication skills. 

• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working. 

• Creative, solution-oriented and forward-looking way of thinking. 

• English level B1 (intermediate). 

• Ability to drive change actively.
