Join Our HR Team as a Senior HR Business Partner

Are you a strategic HR professional with a passion for driving organisational success? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and excel at partnering with senior leaders to achieve outstanding people and organisational outcomes? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of developing and delivering the People Plan for your partnered area. Leveraging your HR expertise and market knowledge, you will provide innovative and efficient HR solutions that align with our strategic objectives. You will be a trusted advisor to senior management, offering coaching, guidance, and challenge on HR topics to drive the best possible outcomes. 

This role is part-time, up to 22.5 hours per week, offering flexibility to balance your professional and personal commitments.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • People Plan & Business Partnering: Develop and execute the People Plan, collaborating with Centres of Excellence and Shared Services to ensure high-standard support and delivery.
  • Coaching & Advising Senior Leaders: Partner with senior leaders, providing trusted guidance and robust challenge to achieve optimal people and organisational outcomes.
  • Organisational Design & Change Management: Lead organisational design and change management processes to create efficient structures and drive critical business changes.
  • Developing Talent & Capability: Formulate talent plans, oversee talent development, and manage succession processes to build a pipeline of capable and dynamic leaders.
  • Employee Engagement, Wellbeing & DEI: Create and execute engagement plans, support wellbeing initiatives, and foster an inclusive workplace environment.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the Group HR Centres of Excellence and lead projects that deliver value and improve effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and support employee relations matters, taking ownership of critical cases and ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and driving employee development and satisfaction.


ABOUT YOU

  • HR Expertise & Experience/Qualification: Able to understand complex issues and develop robust HR plans. Experience in strategic and operational HR work is required. Thorough understanding of all HR disciplines, including social dialogue to drive change. An HR qualification or education background is desirable but not required. Experience in project work is desired.
  • Organisational Change & Change Management: Ability to lead, influence, manage, and advise on significant business change. Takes a systematic approach to designing, planning, and managing the end-to-end process of change and transformation. A strong and visible advocate for change, leading and supporting the business through transitions.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong communication skills. Strong negotiating and influencing skills; a natural and effective approach to challenging and questioning. Able to negotiate effective outcomes and maintain relationships.
  • Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management: Ability to quickly and effectively build senior-level relationships. Possesses the personal and professional credibility to coach and influence senior leaders.
  • Commercial & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse and diagnose business issues and translate these into people-based solutions while maintaining a wider commercial view. Commercially minded and able to take pragmatic decisions, balancing the needs of the business, individuals, and teams. Sound judgement and intellect, pragmatic and commercially astute.
  • Global Mindset: Comfortable navigating the complexities of a global environment.
  • Data Mindset: Competent in working with and interpreting data, able to act based on sound judgement and data analysis.
  • Ambiguity & Self-Drive: Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced, changing environment. Resilient and comfortable with ambiguity. Independent working style, quick comprehension, and high social skills, as well as assertiveness. Focus on continuous self-improvement and fostering an environment where others focus on their own continuous development.
