Senior Automation Manager

We're looking for a Senior Automation Manager where you'll lead a team of Product Owners to drive the development and implementation of automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service quality in our ticketing and fulfillment processes.

ABOUT THE JOB

• You'll develop and own the end-to-end automation strategy for Ticketing and Servicing, establishing a clear vision and roadmap that aligns with broader organizational goals.

• Leading a team of Senior Product Owners and Product Owners, you'll manage resources effectively across automation initiatives, balancing competing priorities and allocating team capacity appropriately.

• We'll count on you to identify automation opportunities by analyzing current workflows, prioritizing initiatives based on potential impact, and overseeing implementation from concept to delivery.

• The role involves formulating standardization and automation requirements for key systems including Air Quest, TF-Suite, Air Cruiser, Iris Plus, and Midoco.

• Collaboration with IT teams is essential as you'll serve as the business liaison between operational teams and technical resources, ensuring automation solutions integrate effectively with existing systems.

• You'll develop compelling business cases for automation investments, quantifying potential benefits including cost savings, productivity improvements, and quality enhancements.

ABOUT YOU

• You have proven experience in process automation, preferably in a complex operational environment like aviation or travel.

• Experience managing teams in a technical environment demonstrates your ability to lead and develop talent.

• You bring an understanding of GDS systems and airline processes, with experience working with systems such as Air Quest, TF-Suite, or similar platforms.

• Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma helps you identify and implement effective solutions.

• Knowledge of API integration and system architecture enables you to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

• Your project management skills with a focus on technology implementation ensure successful delivery of automation initiatives.
