Develop the skills to train, engage and inspire others

In-depth subject matter expertise is the most important foundation of any trainer. However, expertise alone is not enough. Successful training also requires the ability to structure content effectively, engage participants, communicate clearly, and facilitate lasting learning outcomes.

Our three-day Instructor Skills Training (IST) prepares current and future instructors to plan, structure and deliver effective training. Participants explore the fundamentals of successful teaching, communication, learning processes and audience engagement while continuously putting these principles into practice.

The course combines theoretical input with practical teaching exercises. Throughout the three days, participants progressively develop their instructional skills through several Teaching Samples – starting with a short initial assessment and progressing to a structured subject-related presentation.

Particular emphasis is placed on understanding how people learn, how information is retained, how trainers communicate effectively and how questions, feedback and non-verbal communication influence the learning process.

The training is conducted according to TUI Airline training standards and concludes with a certificate of successful completion.

Participants who successfully complete the course receive an Instructor Skills Training Certificate according to TUI Group Operations Centre training standards.
