The Interview: On The Day
You’ve done your research about TUI, reviewed the job description one last time, and started reflecting on the great achievements you’d like to share! But what will the interview look like? Let us guide you through it!
1. Getting started
We’ll begin with introductions and an overview of how the interview will flow. We want to make you feel comfortable and ensure you know what to expect.
2. Getting to know you
We want to get to know you so we'll ask you to tell us more about yourself and what inspired you to apply for this role. Once you’re settled, we’ll move into the assessment part of the interview.
3. The Assessment - Questions
Our interviews usually include a range of different questions. They can be about specific examples from your past experiences to show your skills or they may focus on your abilities, work style, and preferences rather than just experience. This is your opportunity to showcase your transferable skills and highlight what you can achieve in the future.
4. The Assessment - Task
During this part of the interview, we might also ask you to complete an activity and share your insights. You also might receive a task to present during the interview. In both of these cases, we’ll let you know in advance so you can feel fully prepared.
5. Closing the Interview
At the end of the interview, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any final questions. We’ll also outline the next steps and let you know when you can expect to hear from us. We understand that you will be keen to know the outcome, so we appreciate your patience!

Our AI GuidelinesAt TUI, we welcome innovation and embrace tools like AI. We know that when used in the right way, AI can play a positive role in your recruitment journey. We encourage the use of AI to help you prepare and present yourself confidently. However, it’s important that we also get to know the real you throughout the process.
Do use AI to:
Practise for interviews by generating mock questions or shaping your own examples into the STAR (Situation, Task, Action and Result) format.
Help you articulate your own experiences or examples – especially if writing isn’t your favourite thing.
Reflect on how AI tools might support your day-to-day role, and mention that if relevant
Don't use AI to:
Copy and paste generic or AI-generated answers into your application. We want to hear your voice.
Share examples that aren’t your own. We want to know about your skills, experiences and achievements.
Rely on AI to answer questions live in an interview. Your interview is your moment, and we want to learn more about you during it.
Share confidential personal or company information with AI tools. Keep your data safe, your privacy matters.
